Privacy Policy — FunnelPeek
Last updated: 2026-10-24
FunnelPeek is a competitive-research tool for marketers. It is 100% local.
It has no account, no server, no backend and no telemetry, and it
does not collect, store or transmit any personal data anywhere.
What the extension does
FunnelPeek reads information that is already present on the pages you open, and shows
the results to you in the side panel. All reading and processing happens
in your own browser; nothing is ever sent anywhere.
- On a sales page or VSL — when you click one of its buttons, it reads
data already present on that page: the video player's configuration (pitch time, button
text, checkout link), offer prices, tracking pixels and their IDs, the tech stack, and
public business details shown on the page (e.g. a company name or CNPJ in the footer).
- On the Meta Ad Library — it reads the ad data that the page itself
has already loaded, in order to count how many active ads point to each landing page. It
makes no requests of its own to Meta and sends nothing anywhere.
Data storage
The only thing the extension stores is your language choice, saved
locally via chrome.storage.local on your own device. Nothing else is stored,
and this value never leaves your browser.
Data collection and sharing
- We do not collect any data.
- We do not transmit any data to us or to any third party.
- We do not sell, share or use any data for advertising.
- We do not read your browsing history, cookies, passwords or autofill data.
When you choose to open a checkout link or download a video URL that the extension
surfaces, your browser connects to that third-party site directly, exactly as if you had
clicked the link yourself. That connection is governed by that site's own privacy policy.
Permissions
- scripting / activeTab / tabs — to run the reading script on the page you are looking at, only when you click a button.
- storage — to remember your language choice, locally.
- sidePanel — to show the panel.
- host access (all sites) — because VSLs and sales pages live on any domain, and the Ad Library counter runs on the Meta Ad Library. It only reads the pages you open and shows the results to you.
